The Abu Dhabi Education Council (ADEC) is very pleased to be the host of the World Robot Olympiad (WRO) in 2011. The annual WRO represents the penultimate event in the school robotics competitions, offering participants interesting challenges to explore, learn and share.
It is the first time that WRO is being held outside of Asia and the United Arab Emirates is an excellent destination to visit and explore. Not only is the UAE becoming a major technological hub, it is also a major travel hub, connecting the Asia-Pacific, Middle East, Africa and Europe in particular.
The UAE offers rich traditions and warm hospitality, making any visitor feel welcome and at home. We would like to invite you to participate in this Olympiad and hopefully represent your country or region at the WRO 2011 in Abu Dhabi on November this year.
