WRO Membership

Enquiries regarding WRO Membership can be directed to Mr Lars Vahl, General Secretary of WRO Advisory Council. Please check the information regarding WRO Membership included in the “About WRO” section of the website.

General WRO Enquires

Participants (including Coaches) and prospective participants of WRO member countries should direct general enquires regarding WRO 2011 and competitions at local, district and national level through their respective WRO National Organizer (below). National Organizers will be able to source accurate information and provide timely answers to enquiries.

Enquiries regarding issues other than those pertaining to participation in WRO 2011 by residents of WRO member countries, can be emailed to wro2011.info@wrouae.ae  Enquiries that should be directed through WRO National Organizers will not be entertained.


2011 WRO Registration

To be invited to register for participation in the 2011 WRO, teams must qualify through appropriate affiliated national competitions held by WRO member countries. Registration data for WRO 2011 will be entered into the 2011 WRO Online Registration System by WRO National Organizers. Appropriate National Organizers (listed in the "Participating Countries" section) should be contacted directly regarding the registration of participants, coaches and accompanying people residing in member countries.

LEGO Mindstorms

LEGO® Mindstorms was launched in 1998. The product has proven itself to be a useful resource in classrooms for many hands-on Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematical activities. LEGO® Mindstorms is also a useful resource in assisting to develop a student’s skills and abilities in innovation, creativity, problem solving and collaboration.

LEGO® originally launched Mindstorms RCX and more recently Mindstorms NXT. Both versions are able to be used in the WRO competition.

Enquiries regarding LEGO® Education Mindstorms should be directed to the LEGO Education dealer in your area.

Accommodation

Specific questions regarding accommodation should be directed through you National Organizer, who will forward them to the WRO 2011 Organizers. Accommodation requirements must be noted during the registration process.

If you have any questions regarding the rules of the competition or of a technical nature, please check the FAQs for an answer. Otherwise, direct it through your National Organizer and you will receive a timely response.
